How to Install NUXT 2 and Vuetify without Error

Nuxt.js is a framework for creating client side and the server side Vue.js applications, such as asynchronous data you can choose between Universal, Static Generated or Single Page application. It will build a Static Generated Vue.js Application and with a lot of features flexibility

This tutorial demonstrates step by step basic install Nux.js 2 and Vuetify with greatly simplifies using create-nuxt-app.


Before starting with this guide, make sure you have been installed Node.JS. For this guides we are using Nuxt.js version 2.3.4

Step 1: Install Using NPX

NPX (npm package binaries) is a tool intended to help round out the experience of using packages from the npm registry, the same way npm makes it super easy to install and manage dependencies hosted on the registry. to install NPM into Node.Js use the following command

npm install -g npx

If you got access permission denied run command sudo -s enter your password then run above command

Step 2: Install Nuxt.JS App

To get started quickly installing the Nuxt.js  we are going to use scaffolding tool create-nuxt-app. on <project-name> change with your own project name

npx create-nuxt-app <project-name>

Step 3: Testing Webpage on The Browser

You can now view Nuxt.js app in your web browser by visiting your public IP (on the server) or localhost address followed by :port – http://localhost_or_IP:3000 as a default port
